Conclusion

All over France, the Roman have left an incredible quantity of vestiges. The site of Horbourg-Wihr is one of them, not among the most important, yet very interesting because of the history of the excavations of the site, because not all the site has been completely excavated and new interesting discoveries are possible, and because of the mystery concerning to possible name of the site persistes: is it Argentovaria?

Acknowledgment

The different steps of the discovery of the site were made possible by people who were passionate and dedicated and who wanted to transmit the heritage of our ancestors to the next generation.

Among those persons, I would like to personally thank Mathieu Fuchs for the information and documents he sent to me. Those documents were the principal sources I used for this website. I also would like to pay homage to the devotion and professionalism he demonstrated in his research.
